Official: Wada Ayaka hates foreigners (lol)
So, more of the H!P winter concerts, went to the Shuffle concert the other day, no-where near as good as the main concerts. Doesn’t help that most of the sub-unit’s songs aren’t very good at all, and that most of the groups really don’t work together (yes Zoku Viyuden/Sayu i’m looking at you). Also they totally no-where near sold out the place. Entire 2nd floor mostly empty. Last 6 or so rows of the first floor entirely empty. And random seats in every row from there to the front where people just hadn’t bothered to turn up. =/ So we ended up only going to one shuffle concert.
Back to the normal concerts once the shuffle ones had finished, and all the huge cameras were setup, DVD recording time!
The first show of the day had quite a few “technical issues”… crazy sounds coming from the microphone, Gaki getting too close to a speaker and producing a load of feedback, Mano forgetting one of her lines. Halfway through the concert I was already thinking “hmm… if I were in charge of DVD production I’d wouldn’t put this on the DVD”. Then the S/mileage MC just topped it all off, lol.
The general format of the MC was Makoto asking a random question and they have to come up with answers quickly. The question this time was “You meet an American, what do you say to him in English?”. Some amusing answers, then it got to Ayaka, lol, with her response being:
I… don’t like foreigners.
Which resulted in a kinda confused response from everyone along the lines of “what did she say/did she really mean that/i think her english is wrong”. So she repeated it in Japanese:
外国人が嫌いです。
Rapidly followed up by a huge “EHHHHHHHH??!!” from the crowd. And then Makoto hurriedly attempting to apologise saying she didn’t mean it, lol. I’m pretty sure he also apologised a 2nd time before the last song too, lol. So there you have it, Wada Ayaka hates foreigners!
What made it even funnier was that Matt was sat right at the front for the evening concert and according to him she looked really embarassed when she looked at him, lol. 
…and it seemed they decided to record the evening concert too, which didn’t have any “technical issues” or dodgy MC’s, lol. No guesses needed as to which concert will be the one on the DVD.

dude… are you for real? O.o … did it really happen? O.o …this is going to hurt dawa’s popularity ( which wasn’t good to begin with) this is a major WTF IMHO…

Well, in their debut prep she was excited to take pictures with a bunch of people from Taiwan, and she’s talked and taken pictures with Linlin. So I don’t think she means that she hates all foreigners. Unless she means she doesn’t like white people, which I doubt. I take this to mean that she hates communicating with foreigners.

well duh, nobody in smileage can sing. but they’re pretty cute, but i always wonder how foreign fans feel about this when they buy the group’s stuff.
