The start of a long journey…
In Harvest Moon DS at least:

Well i eventually got around to buying the DS version a little while back, and decided i’d play it a little different this time around, lol. Instead of going after one of the generic village girls, i’m going after the best girl in the village, the Witch Princess. She’s got far more personality than any of the other girls in the village (then again i don’t like the people in Forget Me Not Valley as much as those in Mineral Town…… Karen~~~!!), she’s not really evil, just misunderstood, lol. In fact she’s a lot like Mara in The Adventures of Mini-Goddess anime (in looks and personality)…

Anyway, yes, the reason it’s the start of a long journey is because she has absurd requirements for marriage… giving her 10,000 gifts for example (the other girls can get to full red heart and marriage after about 100-150 depending on what you’re giving them). At a rate of 25 gifts per day, i should be done in around 4 years of in-game time, lol… so… around christmas time in real life then, lol.
Having the EU version of Harvest Moon DS is a real double edged sword. On the one hand a lot of the glaring bugs got fixed, such as not being able to marry the harvest goddess or the witch princess, and you randomly waking up with maxed out money, lol. But on the other hand, it seems that in order to “fix” those bugs they just randomly removed or disabled a crapload of stuff, for example… half the TV stations don’t work, and 2/3 of the casino games have been removed etc.
Harvest Moon games have got to be the buggiest games ever released, lol, ahh, but still fun.
In other news…
WordPress 2.3 should be out sometime soonish hopefully, so i may upgrade the site in the next day or so… if you notice anything different then something’s obviously gone horribly wrong, lol.
After listening to Halko Momoi’s song “Good Morning”, i can safely say that’s another one that’s going to be stuck on repeat for a while when it comes out, lol (not that the horribly low quality radio rip already isn’t!).
Can’t wait for Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell (you know, i’m not sure which is the better name, i like the sound of Trusty Bell, but Eternal Sonata makes more sense in English), found out that there will be an option for Japanese audio/English subs, thank lord for that, lol, i may have thrown my controller at the screen at hearing Mr Bosch’s voice again.
Several anime ending soon…
- Romeo x Juliet – Hmm, i have a couple of ideas as to how it’s gonna end, it’ll be interesting nonetheless, certainly not like the original (in a good way).
- Nagasarete Airantou – IKUTO, PLEASE DON’T LEAVE THE ISLAND!!! …or at least take Suzu with you if you must, i think i’ll cry if they go their seperate ways.
- Zero no Tsukaima II – Uhh, well, 2 episodes i have left to watch… uhh… the story has only just started, wtf are they thinking?! How can it possibly end without feeling rushed, lol.
- Nanoha StrikerS – Absolutely no idea how this is going to end, definitely will be great, lol, is it just me or are they setting up Vivio to be the lead in any potential future series?
And finally… since i haven’t done this in a while… growth progress on Naga-tan, lol. I swear this plant is so not going to survive winter (we shall see i guess), i only planted it out of season to see whether it’d even grow. The main batch of naga seeds is still waiting to be planted next spring. Hmm, all i need is to dig up a summer sun stone from the third mine, and have Gotz build a basement under my house………….. oh wait…… that doesn’t work in real life. -_-
