I wasn’t originally going to enter, but my recent forray into video editing (*cough* lol) inspired me to make one. Sadly in order to enter I had to make an account on that site full of all the lowly bottom feeders of society… MySpace. *sigh*

Well anyway, onto the video. Two things first…

a) I have never used Adobe Premiere before, nor done any sort of exciting green screen video editing, nor any fancy picture in picture stuff before… ever.

b) I have never made any sort of music video/AMV/OPV before… ever.

3,2,1 BREAKIN OUT [きらりver.]

Now me personally (bearing in mind a) and b) am quite impressed with myself here. I managed to get in every single one of the Kirarin Revolution PV’s in there somewhere, lol. Admittedly some parts are just “random clip of dancing”, but hey, it’s a first attempt and it turned out significantly better than i was expecting, lol.

As for it’s chances of winning the competition… probably zero since i ignored all of the rest of Morning Musume entirely, and it might just get disqualified anyway depending on their definition of “third party” lol, but i’d say it’s better than some of the other entrant’s on their myspace page.

Ok, so i went slightly mad. That video is clearly dangerous for Koharu fans, but it’s heading towards 4am now and i must put the fruits of my labour onto the internet so some other mad soul may find his way to them…

Predicting Eurovision is fairly easy these days…

“Norway is going to win by a landslide, with Turkey and Azerbaijan fighting for 2nd”

Actual results…

…Norway wins by the biggest margin in Eurovision history, and Azerbaijan/Turkey fighting out for 2nd (almost, lol). Shame about Norway winning, because their song was kinda generic/boring, but i’m so glad Azerbaijan beat Turkey… their song was far better, and the girl was the hottest on the night.

Other things noted; my favourite song… Finland managed to come last, lol, it’s safe to say anything I like will never win Eurovision. And Romania managed to completely ruin their song for the final… the version on youtube had costume changes and everything, but the one they sung on the night just got rid of all of that, it kinda wrecked the song.

As for Graham Norton, he was mildly entertaining in places except for a couple of huge flaws… STOP SPEAKING OVER THE TOP OF THE HOSTS!!!! And not to mention the pointless interview with lord poncy ponce andrew lloyd webber (lack of capitalization deliberate)… I wanted to hear what the hosts had to say, not some interview with some irrelevant self-obsessed poncy c**tface for 5 minutes. Well done BBC for showing utterly no respect for the Russian hosts, I certainly hope it won’t be the same next year because that was a disgrace.

The end of an era. Though I think we all knew this was going to happen at some point. It’s a shame, I do miss the old Harepan.

Hmm, I suppose this means I won’t be able to keep that promise to come and see them again. >_< Maybe they’ll release a DVD copy of their final live… maybe they’ll sing their entire discography.

I hope they continue with individual blogs, it’d be a shame if they just disappear completely.

…anyway I suppose I should just say… THANKYOU for the wonderful songs of past! (I still say Neko Nyan Dance is one of the greatest songs ever! )
