Looks like it’s official now, Kirarin Revolution will end when this season comes to a close (end of March), i make that 153 episodes.

MilkyWay graduating.
A Kirarin Revolution concert was announced for the end of March, and my initial reaction was something like “Well, looks like it’s got another season then, they’d have called it the ‘last’ concert if it were ending.”
…and only a few days after i’d said that a further concert was announced for the beginning of May… “Kirarin Revolution Final Stage”… sods law, lol.
My guess is the staff were only recently notified that the show wouldn’t be continuing too, otherwise they’d have called the one in March “Final” and not announced another one so soon after, lol.
Ahh well, 153 episodes is a long time, will we finally get closure on the plot? What will Koharu do now?
It’s been a while since i made a new one of these, the best picture of Koharu ever (sums her up perfectly), combined with the best picture of Kirari ever, how appropriate, lol:

A whole episode dedicated to Mako-chan, he has returned in full force!

“Tanuki’s are cute!” (lol) ^_^
Well i”m going to AX this year… hotel booked, only a mere 5 minute walk down the road from the convention centre. It is however supposedly the worst hotel in the area, some 1930′s hotel with dodgy lifts (twilight zone much?), dodgy showers, dodgy smell, and tiny rooms (i’m sure they’re not tiny by Japanese standards)… the “Ritz Milner”. On the plus side it was extremely cheap, and extremely close… no staying in dodgy gangland with gun toting bikers and bullet riddled cars this time (oh wait… it’s downtown LA…….. doh!
).
Oh, and my previous post about the possible lack of romance in STAGE3 of Kirarin Revolution was completely unfounded (that’ll teach me to make assumptions before watching it, lol):

(Kirari and Hiroto go together so well… i think Seiji will end up in the “just good friends” category when she finally admits her feelings and makes a decision.)

My first reaction being: “WHAAAT?!” said out loud.
Gotta love the reactions from both sides of the camp:
JPop fans: “Why are Morning Musume performing at a losers convention?”
Anime fans: “Why are Morning Musume performing at an anime convention, what do they have to do with anime?”
The interaction between the two will be entertaining if nothing else.
So who’s up for another trip to la for the anime expo this year?
(a rare opportunity for a foreigner to get something signed by them perhaps… the Kirarin Revolution star would become godlike, lol)
…under £600 for flights and hotel right next to the convention centre (under £500 if you don’t mind changing flights)… though i can see hotels filling up fast.
EDIT: AX have confirmed there will be a Q&A panel, and autograph session.

There has been a distinct lack of our idol and role model Mako-chan in the latest season of Minami-ke.
5 episodes in and all we have is an appearance of about 10 seconds. NEEDS MORE MAKO-CHAN!! T_T
