After a certain someone succeeded in eating a whole habanero from my plant without showing any reaction whatsoever apart from saying “Yeah… it’s much much hotter than a birds eye chilli.”, i went looking for something hotter to grow, lol.

Dorset Naga – Supposedly the worlds hottest chilli

The seeds/plant looks like the spawn of hell itself, lol. Not quite the right time to plant them now, so i guess i’ll wait until next year (well i planted a couple anyway, save the rest until next year).

All i need now is a talented sculptor/artist to create Naga-tan, lol… maybe Naga-tan already exists?

Also… must make some sort of habanero sauce this year since i got pleanty of chilli’s, lol.

Why oh why oh why do i not live in Japan? After 3 episodes Umisho has overtaken Nagasarete Airantou as my favourite thing of this year so far, it is stunningly beautiful, the characters are all funny, and the voice acting is great. Then i see it has a stage show too that will be performed for a week next month. T_T I want to live in Japan, lol (at least for the next few weeks).

The only questions i have regarding this:

1. What logistics are involved with creating a stage show based around a swim team? o.O Will there be a pool?
2. What are the chances of there being a DVD? (i’m assuming little to none?)
3. …failing a DVD, how much do i have to pay someone to go sneak a camcorder in and record it?

Ahh… i so need some Umisho wallpapers, or to make an avatar/sig. Oh well, in the mean time, i give you Amuro…

Due to the dramatic increase in comment spam i’ve got over the last month (from 0 to 1 or 2 per day, lol… yes, i consider that “dramatic”), which none of you will have seen since i’ve been deleting it before it shows up, i have got rid of the old image thing on comments and replaced it with a different more fun plugin, lol (one that’s not several years out of date, and randomly displays junk instead of a number). You even get an error now when you fail the spam test when posting comments, instead of just being sent back to the same page with no error.
Also i’ve turned off trackbacks on all posts (not like anyone ever uses trackbacks anyway), just in-case they’re using that to spam. So hopefully i should be back down to my 0 spam again, lol, we’ll see how it goes.

And on a completely unrelated note for anyone in London… Boris Johnson absolutely *MUST* be voted in as Mayor, lol, the guy’s a comedic genius! Would love to see him fix up the tube!

As before… brief thoughts on stuff i’ve watched this season (i think i’ve about watched all i’m going to, lol):

Umisho – First thing that’s striking is the rather pretty art style (such pretty blushing cheeks, hair, and ocean, lol). Second thing is the great OP song, definitely my favourite of this season. Third and most importantly, it’s pretty funny. Favourite show of this season so far!

 

Potemayo – Jesus christ, how can they get away with broadcasting such crap. o.o Much like my first impressions of Lucky Star… but 1000x worse, the only remotely funny thing in the whole of the first episode was a couple of leaf carrying ants that got trapped in a crack in the pavement, no, really, that half a second frame was the only thing that remotely made me smile in the whole episode, yeah, it was that bad. I did try to give it a chance and watch the 2nd episode, but the lack of random ants and the rest being filled with mind-numbing crap lead me to give up before halfway, lol. Utter rubbish, stay well away.

 

Code-E – Hmm, well the first episode didn’t really inspire me to want to watch more, but maybe it’ll pick up, it wasn’t bad, meerly average, give it another few episodes, though then again my love for Haruko Momoi may overpower any decision to give up watching it, i mean i watched all of Rabuge and Lovedol for that reason alone, and Seto no Hanayome did pick up after a few more episodes into something really funny, lol.

School Days – Well after the first episode all i could say was… “that was an excellent setup for the rest of the series”, perfect, lol. I was almost ready to say “well, that was sweet, if they ended the series now i’d be happy”, until the “incident” on the train platform, lol. Sadly after the 2nd episode all i could think of was “dear god, is this guy retarded?”, it’s quite impressive at how badly he fails. Oh well, the girls are interesting, i shall continue watching.

 

Doujin Work – Quite funny, short 13 minute episodes, wonder if it’ll be anything like Comic Party… shall continue watching.

 

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai – We return to Hinamizawa! More of the same as season 1. (well obviously not exactly the same, but you get the idea)

 

Moetan – Pretty much a parody of magical girl series, but hey it’s funny, cute, and helps you learn English! (…wait a sec, lol). *looks at all the Moetan figures/books on his shelf*

 

Zero no Tsukaima II – I was actually looking forward to this more than the 2nd Shana series (Louise > Shana lol), again, more of the same as the first series, should be excellent! ^_^

 

Nanatsuiro Drops – *looks at Nanatsuiro Drops artbook on shelf* …well… Noizi Ito, how could i not watch this, lol. Very pretty characters as you would expect. The plot didn’t seem too generic which is a bonus i suppose, lol. All we need now is a Peace@Pieces anime.

And i guess that about covers everything i’m watching this season. Hmm, i don’t think i ever mentioned anything about Dennou Coil or the ICE OVA here, so i guess i’ll mention it below…

Dennou Coil – Wow, such an interesting world. I so want one of those headsets, lol. Plot is really interesting especially with the way it mixes virtual reality with the real world… all out virtual war going on in the school, lol, but only those with the glasses can see/interact with it. Excellent.

 

ICE OVA – Well i’m only watching this because AKB48 members feature heavily in it, and they done the end theme, lol. Suffice to say the story is odd, and women can’t run society on their own as its clearly turned to crap, lol. And wtf was going on with that field and the birds near the end, definitely weird, lol. Will keep watching of course.
