Right then, it seems i’m going to Anime-Expo at the end of the month, lol! Not entirely sure how that happened, but it seems we now have plane tickets, and what is possibly the cheapest hotel in the world (£20 per night… including breakfast!), nothing can stop me from the chance of seeing Haruko Momoi live! Now then what should i take to try and get signed, the Mail Me single, Haruko Up-Date, or something else… hmm….
Oh, and also the Japanese female cast of Haruhi will be there for a concert too, i guess that’s an added bonus, lol, guess i shall be taking the Japanese DVD’s and try and get those signed. ^_^
It will be interesting to compare America’s biggest convention with our smaller conventions, all of us over here tend to have pre-concieved ideas about American conventions… i.e. …while they are large and have decent guests, the people are less friendly, take their cosplay too seriously, and have less fun. We shall see, we shall see…
This will mark my first time in LA too, lol, only been to Florida before. ^_^
Pokemon seems to have become slightly more complex in these new versions, lol, never heard of any of this EV/IV nonsense back in the school playground.
Anyway, thought i might aswell give it a go, no sense putting myself at a disadvantage to all these people with too much free time on their hands. >_> Chain of events as follows:
- Catch a Ditto of every nature for breeding purposes (5 hours – only got 20 natures so far, many duplicates).
- Catch Porygon (10 minutes… surprisingly easy).
- Breed Porygon with Ditto for the nature i want, name all correctly natured ones with an incrementing letter, discard the rest (roughly 1/2 discarded).
- Check initial stats of lettered Porygon for an idea of IV’s, again discarding those that look to be poor, keeping going until one of them looks good enough to be the final candidate for that letter’s batch (roughly 5/6 discarded).
- After batch of 6 lettered final candidates are ready, battle a willing volunteer in a lvl 100 battle to get exact IV’s for each lettered Porygon.
- Repeat steps 3-5 until something decent appears.

Steps 3-5 took almost 30 damn hours!! Based on the above rough stats to get all the way to the letter W means i bred roughly 276 Porygon. O.O;; I think possibly i shall leave the crazy IV stuff to the crazy people with nothing better to do.
Eventually the candidate from the P batch was chosen, and renamed to LOVE.EXE (lol, the reference fits so well), and it better be the best damn Porygon i’ve ever owned otherwise there’ll be trouble. >_>
The results of randomly buying something on London Expo weekend…

Clearly lining up a dress against your body is no way to judge whether or not it will fit *grumbles*, women’s clothes shopping is far too complex, what’s wrong with a simple “Small”, “Medium”, “Large” system, lol.
But, *sigh* i kept my word, lol, and wore it for the rest of the day (with the buttons undone so i could actually breathe).
(a mixture of ‘i want to break the camera that person is holding’, ‘i’m trying to stop myself from laughing’, and ‘i’m really disappointed it didn’t fit’… and yes that is a train station and not the expo)
There are two solutions for this problem, either i sell it… or i get some person/robot that is willing to live in my cupboard (free food, and no rent, what more could you want, lol) and act as a doll to be dressed up, lol.
It’s amazing what browsing the internet after a weekend of almost non-stop AKB48 DVD’s (<<best AKB48 performance evar!) can do, lol.

Not only would a game of top trumps be possible, but with the addition of those numbers at the top (overall alphabetical position, team letter, team alphabetical position), the subgroup membership, and single participation, i’m sure with a little work you could get a funky poker game going, and a variety of other games with a little bit of imagination. Great fun for all the family (or maybe not)!
…yes… i was somewhat bored this week as you may tell, can’t wait to have the finished deck, lol. ^_^
(AKB48 are definitely on our list to see live while we’re in Japan)

Completly off topic… been listening to some (well all) of The Ark’s other songs, and i have to say they’re all pretty damn good, i seem to like these Scandinavian bands, lol, much like after being in Norway many years ago and discovering Morten Abel, lol, he’s great too(<<song has a funny plot). Ahh, they both *need* to come to England!
I think i have odd musical tastes, lol… hyper cute tooth destroying japanese pop one minute, cheesy europop/rock the next, and a bit of eurobeat/parapara/ddr thrown in. o.O Hmm, i should figure out how to add that last.fm thingy here without it breaking the sidebar. >_>
Hmm… while i’m talking about the sidebar i wonder how many people noticed the up/down arrows on the dodgy twitter thing let you scroll previous/next entries… and i wonder if i’ll ever figure out how to fix the sidebar so it works with wordpress’s widgets. =/
