Seemingly after everyone else, my copy finally arrived (i blame using up all my speedy post karma on the last thing that arrived, lol). It’s at this point that i may dissapear from the internet for a couple of weeks (much like the time Enchanted Arms came out last year), lol.

I’ll post my friend code/whatever up at some point when i get that far. Feel free to ask to battle/trade/whatever, leave a comment or email me or something.

EDIT: While i’m on the subject, does anyone else thing the whole “friend code” system is incredibly pointless? I mean what’s wrong with just having some sort of random battle function where you can battle anyone online without getting their friend code from somewhere. Bah, someone needs to tell Nintendo how to run online games, how many are out on the Wii at the moment again? lol.

Well, discounting the whole waiting for it to be shipped since November, lol, but i seem to have set a new record for the quickest delivery i have ever received, a grand total of 34 hours 55 minutes from the moment it was shipped in Japan to the moment it arrived at my door. The EMS guys must have been feeling fast that day (well day and a half).

Hmm… now what could that possibly be i wonder… something relating to Haruhi one would guess.

Hehe, well remember last year Kyoto Animation were offering a limited number of reproduction cels from Haruhi on their site (the page has long been removed), yes… those cels i dismissed on a certain forum saying something along the lines of… “Bah… they’re only reproduction cels, who’d pay that much for a screenshot printed on acetate.” …well, apparently i would, lol. Not sure why i eventually gave in, but at the time i was buying every other piece of Haruhi merchandise, and probably thought “ahh well, might aswell”, and it’s not really a screenshot as such anyway, since it’s painted and all.

(p.s. for anyone wondering why my sucky photo’s are always at dodgy angles, it’s because i haven’t mastered the art of lighting, lol, and so, my solution for preventing horrible flashes in the middle of the picture = point flash at an angle so it doesn’t reflect directly back into the lens *sigh* lol.)

Ok, so admittedly i haven’t watched Pokémon for a few years, but what with the new games coming out (well out already everywhere else >_>) i thought i might aswell see how the series was going…

Fair enough in the real world one would expect a child’s voice to be somewhat different after 10 years, but this is an anime, not the real world, there is no ageing, he looks exactly the same as he did before, therefore i should expect him to sound the same.

Grr, all these TV companies thinking they can make a few extra ££(/$$) by pissing on everyone’s childhood. Now what’s the address i should be sending these animal bones to in protest? >_>

Hehe, it has been 1 year since the first live action Haruhi dance video thingy appeared on the internet, it deserves a mention i guess.

I would like to have said “oooh, look what i started”, but well, it would have happened anyway. ^_^

Still… amusing being the first though, lol…

…i still see no Seto no Hanayome sub. >_> Ahh well…

Keitai Shoujo – Seems somewhat interesting, might aswell carry on watching it since it’s only got short episodes. I mean i didn’t think Hanoka was *that* bad, lol. ^_^

Kaze no Stigma – Oh dear. Possibly the “worst” thing i’ve seen this season. Well, i say “worst”, it wasn’t bad, but it was distinctly well below average. Bland character designs, bland animation, bland story. Nothing in the first episode made me want to continue watching it. Easy to see where most of Gonzo’s budget went this season, lol…

Romeo x Juliet – Excellent, totally excellent! Animation, characters, just the whole feel of it was excellent (especially that snow scene). It differs slightly from the original story, but hey, if i wanted the original story i’d read the original. Lets hope this quality is retained throughout. ^_^ Not so sure about the ending theme though.

Sola – Very interesting first couple of episodes. I imagine the plot will have a few twists and such later on, will carry on watching to see how it goes. Also, the backgrounds in the end theme are very pretty.

…i think that should be pretty much all until Seto no Hanayome gets subbed, lol. >_<
