Sorry for the delay in updating my site again. -_-;;

First of all, i’d like to say… w00t!!!!!!!!!!

I finally got my hands on Haruko Momoi’s first single!!! It’s damn hard to find outside of Japan, since it’s been out of print for a while. But my thanks go to the guy that runs this site: http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Bay/7427/index.html Since he was willing to sell me his copy!! And now, what you’ve all been waiting for… what i promised i’d do several months back… pictures of the stuff in my room!!!

Ok, might aswell start with the bookcase. Top shelf has lovely Me-tan figure, a few plushies, Azumanga Daioh Gundam parody flannels, a few books, and the amazing Nausicaa manga. Dvd shelf has DVD’s… obviously, Aria figures, Nurse Witch Komugi figures, and a metal Ohmu model! The next shelf has a few misc manga i couldn’t fit on the shelf below, all my J-Pop cd’s, a couple of boxed sets, DiGi Charat figures, Mimiru figure, and Bleach figures. Manga Shelf has manga… Ai Yori Aoshi figures, School Rumble figures, Love Hina Playing cards, and a pack of chewing gum… for some reason. Hmm, now the next shelf makes me look like a pervert… i would stand up those plushie’s but they don’t want to, and the angle i took the photo didn’t really help, oh well. Oh, and for anyone that knew about the Sailor Moon cake fork i randomly bought… yes… i did end up buying the matching spoon to go with it!! (ahh… eBay!)Now onto the misc stuff…

First of all the two calendars i bought for next year, Suzuka (the artwork is sooooo cool!!) and School Rumble. Next is a small collection of empty boxes, everyone knows strawberry pocky is the best! My collection of Newtype and Neo mags (anyone notice what’s special about the April issue of Newtype? ). By the way, Newtype really sucks, don’t buy it, it’s just one big Gundam/Fullmetal Alchemist magazine, it seriously has nothing else, and the “reviews” they have are more like adverts, they’re just 3 page summaries of the series with no real insight or opinion on how good it is. Neo is much better, and it’s a UK mag!! Oooh, posters! In the first picture, notice the Bottle Fairy postcard, the guy who sold me his copy of that “Mail Me” CD, sent that postcard along with it… so cool! In the next photo are two prints i bought from the Sweatdrop Studio’s stand at the last expo, you might notice the one on the right has been signed twice (one printed signature, and one actual signature!). And finally, if you’ve seen my forum avatar or sig recently, or you’ve spoken to me on msn, then you’ll know all about this poster!! Well, that’s about it, i’ll probably update these pics occasionally in the future, since stuff is constantly being added (currently waiting for Bottle Fairy figures, more Os-tan figures, bigger Aria figures, and more DVD’s and Manga to arrive!).

Long time no see eh? Been almost 1 month! Anyway, onto the expo news…

Wow, so much fun, great weekend. I was meant to be going with someone else, but they decided to be a cock, oh well, i had far more fun without you (yes, you know who you are )!

Day 1, the day before the expo, went to Euston to meet people, hung around for a while, went to picadilly circus to play arcade games. Then met the rest of the people, and went off to the hotel. We did attempt to stop off in Asda for alcohol, but the nice lady on the till decided that it was after 11pm and she refused to take our money, so we had to do with the 24 cans of beer that was purchased a little while before. Went back to hotel, drunk and ate crisps, managed to stay up till 5am for some reason, at which point everyone went to sleep.

Day 2, got my cosplay ready, Harima Kenji from School Rumble:

And more people recognised who i was this time… a total of 3 people!!

Anyway, after we all got into cosplay (well, most of us), off we went to scare innocent people on the train (well, i don’t think we meant to, but oh well). We got to the london expo, went in, looked around, i bought 2 Bleach figures (Rukia and Orihime), i bought some Azumanga Daioh flannels (they had the Osaka-Gundam parody pics on them, i couldn’t resist), i bought the .hack//sign box with Mimiru figure, and the Beez guy felt sorry for my because my bag was full, so he gave me a Gundam gashapon (i bet he just wanted to tease me that i had no room in my bag)! Umm, that’s about it, i bought some prints and manga from Sweatdrop (Stephanie Drewett rocks!! ). I also entered the masquerade, obviously i didn’t win, but it was fun nonetheless.

We then went back to the hotel, this time with an abundance of alcohol! Mostly everyone got slightly drunk, me especially, and as MattD put it, i was “worshipping the porcelain god”. Luckily i passed out long before MattD fell asleep half-naked on the bathroom floor, so i didn’t have to witness that. Altough, i will say that a large proportion of the bathroom was bright green in the morning!

Day 3, needed water and fry up in morning, had to settle for diet lemon coke and crisps. Went to expo, more of the same, only half in cosplay today. Ran out of money, went back to hotel for another night of drunken fun… and the family guy movie… and Burn Up Excess (which i now own on DVD)!!!!

Day 4, woke up, played Dynasty Warriors instead of tidying room (i think we beat one of the final levels). We then got kicked out by the cleaners, as we hurriedly left, we could hear mumbles of “Oh… shit!” by the cleaners in our room behind us. We then went to the train station, and hung around for a bit, then everyone left.

So, yeah, it was rather fun, the pics i took are over in the usual place if you want to see them. And at some point i will take photo’s of my room as promised earlier.
